Hey everybodyyyy- Happy Halloween!
It has been both really cold and really warm this week. So that's Alabama in November.
It was a fun week, on Tuesday we had some wonderful lessons with a member and we just knew that she needed to be there for the people that we were visiting. That night we got to go to Huntsville to meet up with the other missionaries in our zone for a halloween night bonfire. It was a lot of fun, we played werewolf, and drank hot chocolate. Honestly it was so cold, we were freezing, but the bonfire was warmmmm!
The next day we had our district council adn afterwards President Chibota had us all join a zoom call and we were super nervous about what he was going to tell us, but it turns out that the new Tallahassee Florida Mission that they're creating is going to change our mission boundaries. So as of next July we will be losing the panhandle of Florida. That day we also went on exchanges and I stayed in Scottsboro with Sister Casady!
On Thursday when Sister Moralez and I were reunited we went to Walmart to go public contacting and the only 4 people we talked to were interested in learning more!!! Yay for Walmart!!
A few days ago we had a member out with us and she is just so wonderful, we had a fun time <3
Yesterday Jamie brought Violet, Gabriel, and her older son Tristan to church! We were so glad they all got to come! Also it was fast Sunday and we didn't eat dinner until 7:30 and with daylight savings time the sun now goes down at 5 pm! Anyway, I was ready to go to bed before we even ate dinner, haha.
It's been a crazy week, but we made it through! I hope y'all have a wonderful week, I love all of you and appreciate the little messages you send me!
Spiritual thought:
In preparation for zone conference we have been studying a talk called "Be 100% responsible" and I just love it! It talks about some things that people do to put the blame on other people and not have to take responsibility for their actions. And honestly it hit hard, it can be hard to take responsibility for our actions sometimes, but it is so important to be responsible because God gave us agency and with that we have to be responsible. So- go be responsible people!
Love y'all,
❤️ Sister Hansen
