Hello my friends
It has been a week!
I was actually sick all week which was really sad, but I am getting better so that's wonderful.
On Tuesday we had interviews with President Chibota and we got to talk with Sister Chibota and I swear revelation just pours out of her mouth for real she's amazing.
Wednesday was Valentine's Day! We helped decorate for the youth dance and the Elders from Fort Payne came and helped and that was a lot of fun.
We had a very strange call with a guy from social media who seemed interested. He did some celebrity impressions for us and they were really bad. We later found out that he friends sisters on facebook so he can talk to them and he's not actually interested... sad. He also lives in Parker's mission so that's exciting.
We met the most precious woman ever! Her name is Velma, she's blind and she's amazing! She is so sweet and she had a lot of questions about our beliefs! She gave us bracelets that she made, I love her!
We talked to a less active guy and he was so confused about why we were there, he thought he was teaching us and kept asking us what we wanted to know? Idk, he was confused.
A lot of our friends live far away or can't meet in person so we had so many stinkin' calls this week it was crazy.
Also- the birds have been singing such beautiful songs. It's like spring is on the way! Which is crazy because its February.
Also we played laser tag for p-day today, teehee.
Spiritual thought:
As a mission we've been asked to study Alma 17 and I absolutely love this chapter! (Ammon and Lamoni) and we've been talking about how Ammon never forgot his purpose! He knew what he came there to do and he did it! He also knew how to teach simply, really Ammon was just a cool missionary (I especially liked when he cut the guys arms off) so in conclusion, remember who you are and that God has a plan for you! And be like Ammon!
