Hey squad, I don't have a whole lotta time today because we're going to the BEACHHHH!!!
Let me give you a quick rundown...
-met a super crazy lady who is a member but believes in some weird book (not the BoM)
-visited a member who knows a lot about music and we bonded over it!
-we had a great lesson with Shannan and found out that she doesn't have a foundational knowledge of Jesus Christ or the Bible which is absolutely unheard of around here
-we had dinner with our ward mission leader and his family + the APs... which was so intimidating for some reason. Our AP's are really good guys, but we had to give the little message at the end and we were scared but we slayed it.
- I said "use the priesthood to open the door" in front of the APs when our ZL was struggling to open a door with a child lock handle on it... my bad
- had dinner with a family who's daughter just from back from her mission! And we found out that the kids these days are using the term "Rizzline" not sure what that means
- got to help sort a bunch of baby clothes for a lady in our ward who's about to have her 6th baby, and her husband is currently deployed (theres a lot of military people here)
- got to go to church twice! Because Shannan couldn't make it to our ward so we went to the other Elders ward
- the Crestview 2 Elders were singing in their ward and they did great!
- Sunday was Sister Rhodenizer's birthday!
- had dinner with the Olsen family who have the cutest kids ever, they made a b-day cake for Sis R and sang to her 🥺
- had dinner with a member last night and surprise, the APs showed up again! Plus the member with 5 kids! It was so fun!
- got to go to the beach and hang out with some cool missionaries, I love the ocean!
Spiritual thought:
So as we all know, yesterday was Easter! What a wonderful opportunity it is to celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Because He lives we can live again, we will have perfected bodies and will be free from sickness and pain! That has to be the greatest gift ever! Anything that I could say about the sacrifice that He made has already been said, but I can testify that Christ lives, he loves you. Yeah you! He quite literally understands you and he knows everything you've gone through and will go through. Basically Jesus has got our backs, so trust in Him!
I love y'all so much, have a wonderful week, just know that Jesus loves you so much!
❤️Sister Hansen
