Hello my friends!
This week has been WILDDDDD- we were busy busy busy
On Tuesday we had exchanges and I got to go to Cullman with Sister Stovall and it was sooooo goood! We literally had the best time. Her and I are about the same age and we got along really well! One of the people we talked to in Cullman has a girlfriend who lives in Decatur so we got a referral from him!
On Wednesday we traded back and sis Hyde and I were reunited! So good.
On Thursday we spent the day in our area and then at night we drove down to Birmingham to spend the night with Sister Thain and Sister Shumway. Sister Thain is sis Hydes trainer so she's my mission grandma!
Then Friday morning we finished the drive down to Prattville for follow up trainers! We got to see all the people that came out on the mission with me and their trainers! So it wasn't a huge crew, but it was fun! We talked about how our first month in the mission has been!!! Crazy that we've been here for a month. We had Costco pizza and hot dogs for lunch so we were spoiled! But the neeting was good and I got to see sis goff again!
On Saturday we had interviews with President so we went to Madison for those and I got to see Sister Goff again! Crazy! Saturday night we had a Stake conference session and President Chibota spoke!
Sunday was Stake conference and it was really good! Then we helped one of our new members move out of her apartment, she's moving far away and we will miss her ❤️
Today we had a district p day and we drove some more to go play basketball and volleyball 🤘🤘🤘 on the way back we got stopped at a railroad crossing because there was a train that was not moving? Idk what that was about.
Our friend KJ is progressing really well! We taught him word of wisdom and law of chastity and he is completely accepting it! We are excited for him!
Fun fact: I got my driving privileges this week! If you're driving on Alabama roads watch out!
Spiritual thought:
We all have been giver our own spiritual gifts for a reason. You are where you are for a reason- if you try to get strengths you don't have you may lose the ones you do have. Use your strengths and others strengths will fill in your weaknesses! Trust in the Lord!
I love you all! Have an awesome week
❤️Sister Hansen
