Y'all... I got to go to the Tallahassee Temple on Saturday and it was SO AMAZING!
Okay, okay I will get to the temple, but let me start with the week:
-On Monday we had a lesson with our friend Megan who is so amazinggggggg. She is so awesome she has the best questions. I'm so excited for her.
- We got to go to Activity Days for the girls and they had us teach them the Plan of Salvation- it as so fun!
- We got to go to Cracker Barrel with some members of our ward, love them.
- We drove down to Tallahassee for our little trip, we got to stay the night with Sister Dahlin and Sister Taylor who are some of my bonus daughters in the mission, I LOVE THEM SO DANG MUCH!
- Much tea was spilled at said sleepover and much catching up happened.
- The next day we pulled up to the mission home for breakfast and a mini devotional for all the departing missionaries before we WALKED to the temple because it is that close. I am in love with the temple, it is GORGEOUS! WE got a private, very in depth, tour of the temple and I can testify that everything in that temple was done intentionally. I could go on and on. We also got to have our final interview with President Trusty.
- Yesterday we had dinner with a couple in our ward and they showed us a snake they caught.
Spiritual thought:
I LOVE TO SEE THE TEMPLE! That building has not been dedicated yet, but the Spirit is there. I LOVE IT. I have been on such a spiritual high ever since getting to go there. It truly is a holy place. The temple is something I definitely took for granted growing up, I didn't realize that living within 15 minutes of the temple was such a blessing. The closest working temple right now is 4.5 hours away in Birmingham, but it's closed, so then we have 5 hours to Atlanta, and now we are looking forward to just 2.5 hours for Tallahassee! There is so much peace inside the temple and I can testify that the Spirit is there. God is in the details of it so that we can be closer to him. SO, if you get the opportunity to go, please go!
that's all, I love y'all
❤️Sister Hansen
