Hi everyoneee
Last Monday I made chocolate chip cookies for the first time since I've been on my mission and I was so happy! But I spent the next couple of days trying to not to eat all of them because I wanted to bring them to district council haha but our district council wasn't until Wednesday. Luckily the cookies lasted that long.
We pulled up to district council and instead of our 2 Zone Leaders showing up we had 1 zone leader and one AP show up lollll. Anyway I gave a pretty fire training about social media (because Im the district rep for social media which just means I make sure that everyone does social media lol. Then we ate my cookies and they were so yummyyyy!
The next day we had a lesson with our friend Jamie who actually lives super far away so we met her at the church building and it was the first time that I met her in person! It was an awesome lesson and we were trying so hard to get her to come to church! She wants to go but she always sleeps through church. :( For dinner that day one of the members bought us a pizza from little Caesars and we ate it in the car with no napkins or anything and we were GREASY!
On Friday we had this couple in our ward- the Mayfields agree to come out with us for lessons, they were with us from 2-4:30 and during that time literally nothing went right. People weren't home or it wasn't a good time, we literally had one lesson in that whole time. It was kinda funny but also stressful, but we know that the Lord recognizes our efforts.
Saturday morning we did some service for Sister Reyes in the branch. We were helping her out with some yard work and let me tell you- I don't think I've ever sweat like that. It was HOT. But it was worth it! (And she bought us ice cream) Later that day we visited our friend Carol and she told us all about her sickness- maybe a Lil too much- and then proceeded to cough on us- I was backing up for realz.
And then came Sunday. The fateful day. And JAMIE CAME TO CHURCH YAY!!!! It was so good and she liked it and the branch loves her!!!! The rest of the day was just way too hot. People kept telling us to go home because it was so hot lol.
Overall it was a good week!
