7/29/2024 - Week 73 - Never met a miracle I didn't like!

Hey y'all, what is up? It's another email from Sis Hansen.

This week we had our last lesson with our friend Debbie before she left for 3 months. :( It was so sad because she was so awesome like she was talking about how much she loves what we've taught her and how it just seems like it fits. She's so cool.

This week I did have a mini mental breakdown because it really sunk in that I will be going home soon. It's pretty sad, but I know there are good things to come when I do get home, but being here is pretty good.

We had our first Zone Conference with the Trustys this week! They're so funny and cute, we just love them. It's always good to see the other missionaries and spend time with them.

One of the days this week we were out in the boonies of our area trying to visit some less active members and by some miracle we found this lady's house, but she wasn't home. :( So we went down the road and turned around, but after we had been driving for a little bit I felt like we should go back and knock on one of the houses we passed by. So we did and before we went in Sister Huish prayed that we would find a miracle. The lady answered and said we could share a message with her. Her name was Miracle! It was so cool, she has some family who are members of the church too, so hopefully we will be able to go back and see her again sometime.

I also got scratched by a doggie this week, so that was fun.

There's a less active sister in our ward who really wanted a triple combination so we got one for her at ZC and painted it, she loved it

Our ward's organist was out of town yesterday so I played the organ in church- I don't know how to play the organ and I had never played the piano in sacrament meeting before so it was a new experience, but it was fun!

Spiritual Thought:
At Zone Conference we talked a bit about having charity for others and I just know that it's so important to give other people grace. I mean one of the 2 great commandments we were given is to love our neighbors. And we are all out here just trying to do our best, you never know what someone else is going through and you can either be the one person that ruins their day or the one person who makes their day. So lets choose kindness. Easier said than done, but regardless it's important to treat others how Jesus would. <3

Thanks for once again listening to my rambles, I love you all so much, and I hope you have a great week!
