Hey everyone! It was a pretty good week, let me give you a quick run down of what happened:
- We had a ward activity at the river and it was hotter than HADES out there. I wish I could've gotten in that river, but we survived it and it was so fun.
- We had lunch with a member of our ward who is an older gentleman who lives with his mom, they're both members. And he is SO DANG FUNNY- like we were cracking up the whole time. He kept telling us about his sister who is "Scandalous" apparently and he was like "I don't know what we're gonna do with her, we need to bless her room or something". It was too good. He kept saying everything was scandalous, it was so dang funny!
- We took a day and visited a bunch of people out in the boonies of our area and it was so fun, but our car got so dusty.
- We met up with the YSA sisters and had lunch with them.
- had dinner at Chili's with some members and the senior missionaries, the Woodburys.
- We had FHE with the Parsons and we're sad because it might be the last one for one of us.
- We got to go to a wedding for a couple that the Elders were teaching and it was super lowkey but just kinda different. The Pastor guy who was officiating kept talking about the covenant they were entering into and at the end he had everyone lay hands on them and pray over them. The groom was wearing his nike tennis shoes. It was wonderful.
- Transfers are this week and on Thursday it will be the first day of my last transfer... super crazy! I will let you know what happens, we find out tomorrow!
- We helped this lady who is a hoarder clean out her stuff and she won't get rid of anything, lol. So frustersting (frustrating and interesting?)
- I hit 17 months as a missionary last Tuesday so that's pretty cool.
We had breakfast with the Bears, some of our favorite members.
Spiritual thought:
I don't have a super great spiritual thought for y'all today, but I can just testify that Jesus Christ truly is the Savior of the world and that he suffered and atoned for your sins and my sins. He knows all of us by name and he knows our faces. He loves you so much and because of His atonement we can be forgiven of all our sins. IT'S REAL AND IT'S SO GOOD!
I love y'all and so does Jesus. :)
Catch ya on the flip side,
❤️Sister Hansen
