8/19/2024 - Week 76 - Did you baptize a crab?

Alright everybody welcome to the beginning of the end. This is the first week of my last transfer as a missionary... kinda crazy.

On Tuesday we found out transfer news and I found out that I would be staying in Crestview! Unfortunately, Sister Huish left me. :( I miss her. She is now in Tifton, Georgia which I didn't know was part of my mission, haha. This is my 5th transfer in Crestview so thats pretty lit.

We also had a district council funeral for those leaving the district. Another day we pranked the Elders and they pranked us back, lol.

The next day we went around to visit all our amazing members so Sister Huish could say good bye to all of them - so sad. :(

On Thursday we had our transfer day and I didn't get to go to transfers. I spent the day in Defuniak with the Sisters and we went to go knock a door and watched a dog ascend out of it's hole that it had dug and I thought we were gonna die, but we didn't. Later, I met my new comp Sister Houston! She's an Idaho girlie too, so it's lit. We tried to visit someone after dark that night and this lady hobbled past our car and she literally looked like a zombie. It was kinda sketch.

We had stake conference this weekend which was lit. We had some great speakers they all gave great talks. Our mission prez and his wife were there and they gave great talks. After stake conf on Sunday the Croalls took us to the beach and let us go on the sand. Bro Croall stayed in the car and while we were gone we talked to a lady who has some family that are members. So when we came back we told him that we were doing missionary work on the beach and Bro Croall said "did you baptize a crab?" Lol!

Spiritual thought:
At stake conference one of the talks that was given was about how when we go to the temple and then have to come back we feel like we are going back to the real world, but in reality the temple is the real world! And I love that because the temple is the closest place to heaven on earth and it really is the real world! I cant wait to be back in the real world.

Also happy b-day momma! Love you,

❤️Sister Hansen
