3/18/2024 - Week 54 - What a wonderful week

Hello, hello everybody! It has been such a great week!

This was such a fantastic week actually! We got to meet one of our friends who was being taught by the elders, Jasmine. She's awesome, her husband is a member and they have the cutest little girl ever, I just love her so much. And Jasmine really wants to get baptized and we are super excited to teach her more! We also had a really good lesson with our friends the Barbechos, Bro Barbecho is a member, but the rest of his family are not, but they want to learn more! They have quite a few kids (I honestly don't know how many) and we're super excited for them.

On Wednesday we got to have dinner with one of our recent converts Sawyer! She is genuinely so awesome! She was baptized in December and she feels like she's been a member her whole life, like she's one of the most prepared people I've ever met.

Thursday we met this family who are new to the ward, the Olsens. They have 4 kids and they're some of the most precious people ever, they are so sweet and love the missionaries. They've lived in the ward for a few months now and we had a great visit with them.

On Friday we had our Zone Conference it was so awesome! We learned a lot about working with the members and had a lot of members join us there! It was over in Pensacola and I had never been there before. I got to see a few of the missionaries that I've served around before there and that is always fun. After Zone Conference we scooted back to Crestview to meet our friend Shannan! She was taught by missionaries for a long time and wanted to get baptized, but she wasn't able to because she didn't have permission from her then husband. She is now married to a less active member who wants to become active again! Shannan and Eric are so amazing and they had us over for dinner! She is so prepared and we are so excited for them!

The next day we visited a less active couple who have 3 crazy dogs and one of them doggos scratched my arm to the max because I wouldn't pet her (I'm not allowed to and she has fleas).
It was pretty iconic.

On Sunday we had so many awesome people at church it was such a miracle! Shannan and Eric and the Easleys (less active couple with dogs) all came and we were so happy! We also got to watch the Relief Society broadcast and Jasmine came! Oh, I love this ward.

Yall I'm loving Crestview it is such a good place and we finally have some lessons set up for this week.

Spiritual thought:
I was reading 4th Nephi this morning and it talks about how the people prospered when there was peace in the land and when they were unified things went better and then when they weren't unified things didn't go too great. I just think that's a great example to us that God has a plan and He has shown us the way to live and act and things just go better when we do it his way. So go do things God's way!

I love y'all so much and also side note- missions are so cool y'all should go on one if you're thinking about it.
Send me a message if you want, I love hearing from y'all!
